Hussein has run a shoe shop for ten years. Before GINI, he only sold to neighborhood customers — today he reaches every Iraqi governorate.

On a side street in Karbala, "Hussein's Shoes" has stood for ten years. The dream was once simple: for Hussein to reach customers beyond his city. Today, the dream is reality — he ships to every Iraqi governorate.
"The shoes came from Turkey at good quality and a fair price, but Karbala customers couldn't absorb the full quantity," Hussein says. "I saw GINI in an ad and thought: why not try?"
"In the first week I uploaded one product a day with a lot of anxiety. When the first order came in from Basra, I went to show my mother the screen — I couldn't believe it. That month I sold 18 orders outside Karbala."
A year and a half on GINI:
"Don't wait to be 100% ready. Start with ten products, photograph them as best you can, and write an honest description. Customers respect honesty more than fancy words."
