Completing an order on GINI Plus now takes a single tap with the new instant checkout feature, which securely saves your preferences.
One of the biggest reasons for cart abandonment is the number of steps required to complete an order. That is why we are launching instant checkout in GINI Plus, which reduces purchase to a single tap after the first order.
At the end of your first order, you are offered to save your payment method and address as encrypted defaults. On subsequent orders a "one-tap buy" button appears directly on every product.
Payment data is not stored by the merchant or directly by GINI, but with a certified payment partner, with two-factor authentication for any order above a certain limit.
During the pilot with a selection of stores, we observed a 34 percent drop in cart abandonment and a 21 percent lift in repeat purchases.
The feature is currently available for GINI Plus stores on the advanced package, and will gradually roll out to the rest of the ecosystem over the coming months.
