GINI has officially launched operations in Basra, Erbil, and Najaf as part of a comprehensive expansion plan targeting merchants and consumers across all Iraqi governorates.

GINI continues to extend its geographic footprint inside Iraq by launching full operations in three new governorates this quarter: Basra, Erbil, and Najaf. The expansion is part of the company strategy to build a unified digital infrastructure that serves the entire country.
GINI selected these regions based on precise data related to commercial activity and digital demand density. Basra represents the southern trade gateway, Erbil is an active economic hub in the region, and Najaf is a growing market in central Iraq.
Merchants in these governorates can now join the GINI platform with the same speed and ease available in Baghdad, backed by dedicated local support and an operations team physically close to them. They will also benefit from direct integration with local delivery companies and approved payment systems.
GINI announced that the second wave of expansion will include Kirkuk, Babil, and Anbar before year-end, as part of a plan to reach full coverage of every Iraqi governorate within the coming months.
